My name is Ann Savoy and I have been involved in dogs and training for close to 30 years now. I live in Woodman's Point, just outside of Grand Bay-Westfield, New Brunswick. I am a long time member (20 years) of the Canadian Kennel Club and the New Brunswick Kennel Club and also long time member of the Canadian Association of Pet Dog Trainers, www.cappdt.ca. I took my first formal courses in dog training in Boston, MA which included various aspects of dog training as well as kennel management graduating in 1980. I frequently attend new courses and seminars on the many varied aspects of dog training and behavior and have obtained several certificates in dog training and specialties of canine behavior including obedience for several levels, tracking, protection, agility, problem behaviors including aggression to people, aggression to other dogs, separation anxiety and phobias. I am also certified as a mentor for a popular School for Dog Trainers. I currently serve as Dog Control Officer for the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield and in the past served as an SPCA officer in New Brunswick. |
