Each session is 6 weeks in length, meeting for approximately one hour each week.
We run classes regularly in Fall, Winter and Spring. We hold classes at the Centrum
in Grand Bay-Westfield on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. I have
a great assistant, Lisa Boucher, that helps with classes so that everyone gets lots of individual attention.
We use training methods that are gentle, reward based and effective. |

Puppy Kindergarten - For puppies ages 8 - 18 weeks of age. This teaches basic manners and provides lots
of information on handling typical puppy issues such as mouthing, chewing and
housebreaking. This class also incorporates a socialization period for the puppies
which is important for this age group. Level 1 - This is a basic class for dogs over 18 weeks. We teach all the basic commands and also cover issues such as housebreaking, chewing, jumping up on people and other common problems. Level 2 - Distraction training, mostly on lead using the skills learned in Level 1 or Puppy Kindergarten and using them in heavy distraction. |

Rally-O The sport of Rally offers both the dogs and handlers an experience that is fun and energizing! The canine team moves at their own pace,very similar to Rally-style auto racing.Rally was designed with the traditional pet owner in mind,but it can still be challenging for those who enjoy higher levels of competition. Communication between handler and dogs is encouraged and perfect heel position is not required but there should be a sense of teamwork between dog and handler. |
